TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 01: JEMBER – SUKAMADE VILLAGE (L,D) We pick you up at your hotel about 7 am , then drive to SUKAMADE – MERU BETIRI NATIONAL PARK by our jeep safari 4WD. After 3 hours drive and passing through villages, coffee, cacao, rubber plantation then will be stop for lunch at local warong in Sarongan village. After enjoy having lunch then continue to Rajegwesi Beach a fisherman village where located in the gateway of the national park. Stop over a few minutes for taking pictures on the beach then continued passing through the jungle, rubber, cacao and coffee plantation in deep forest also across the sukamade rivers. Late afternoon arrived at Sukamade village. Stay overnight in local Guest House. Afer having dinner going to Sukamade beach for seeing turtle lay egg on the beach. It’s about 5 km from Guest House or 30 minutes by jeep. Upon arrive at Sukamade Beach Ranger Post a place for turtle hatchery place and baby turtle pond and getting simple information by ranger about turtles and visitor rules then night trekking to the beach for seeing turtle lay egg, Hopefully can be found it. After midnight, back to guest house.

DAY 02: SUKAMADE – PERMISAN BAY (B,L,D) After having breakfast, prepare for Jungle Trekking to Permisan Bay. It’s one of hidden bay in west part of Meru Betiri National Park. Local ranger will be give a lot of information about forest, rules and floras and faunas along trek path. We hope find animal footprints, animals nest, hornbill birds who flying on the sky, black monkey who jump from the tree to tree. It was amazing experiences. Jungle trekking will pass through kampong Sukamade, bamboo jajang forest, steep climbs up to the slopes of the hill and continued traverse a path that cut to many small river stream until reaches the intersection path, then up and down path until achieve of the stone hill then the path down through valley and small river until finish trekking in Waterfall. Permisan Bay known as hidden bay, white brown sandy beach with calm waves and ideally for swimming and sun bathing. Not many peoples come to this place only a few fishermen who stop at this place for overnight before continue sailed.

Camp with tents and cooking and resting. (Trekking time about 4-5 hours).

DAY 03: Trekking to West PERMISAN – SUKAMADE (B,L,D) After having simple breakfast in camp then trekking to west part of Permisan Bay .It’s another part beach of Permisan Bay which is more wide. At 11 am , trekking back to Sukamade with same route. Late afternoon arrive in Guest House Sukamade. Stay overnight.

DAY 04: SUKAMADE – TRANFER OUT BANYUWANGI (B,L) Wake up call 05 am,then to Sukamade beach for release baby turtle. 07am back to guest house for breakfast, then outside the jungle . Stop over at Green Bay view point for photo taking also trekking down to GREEN Bay. It’s one of the beautiful hidden bay in the national park. After enjoy swim and sun bathing, then transfer out to Ketapang Ferry Port/Banyuwangi Airport/Banyuwangi Station. End of tour

Note :
LDO guest house is the typical accomodation in Sukamade village at Meru Betiri National Park. Which is the guest house with limited facility such as electrical not along day, without air condition, no hot water & shower. Food and beverages will be prepared by chief of the guest and team.
