TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 01: JEMBER – SUKAMADE (L,D) We pick you up at your hotel about 7 am , then drive to SUKAMADE – MERU BETIRI NATIONAL PARK by our jeep safari 4WD. After 3 hours drive and passing through villages, coffee, cacao, rubber plantation then will be stop for lunch at local warong in Sarongan village. After enjoy having lunch then continue to Rajegwesi Beach a fisherman village where located in the gateway of the national park. Stop over a few minutes for taking pictures on the beach then continued passing through the jungle, rubber, cacao and coffee plantation in deep forest also across the sukamade rivers. Late afternoon arrived at Sukamade village. Stay overnight in local Guest House. Afer having dinner going to Sukamade beach for seeing turtle lay egg on the beach. It’s about 5 km from Guest House or 30 minutes by jeep. Upon arrive at Sukamade Beach Ranger Post a place for turtle hatchery place and baby turtle pond and getting simple information by ranger about turtles and visitor rules then night trekking to the beach for seeing turtle lay egg, Hopefully can be found it. After midnight, back to guest house.

DAY 02: SUKAMADE – GREEN BAY – RED ISLAND – BANYUWANGI (B,L,D) Wake up call 05 am,then to Sukamade beach for release baby turtle. 07am back to guest house for breakfast, then outside the jungle . Stop over at Green Bay view point for photo taking then trekking down to GREEN Bay. It’s one of the beautiful hidden bay in the national park. After enjoy swim and sun bathing then continue to Red Island a beautifull white sandy and calm waves, idealy for Sunbathing & Surfing. After enjoy sightseeing panoramic in Red Island then continue to Banyuwangi. Stay overnight

DAY 03: BANYUWANGI – IJEN CRATER – TRANSFER OUT (B,L) Early wake up call, for prepare visit Ijen Crater, then drive up to Ijen Nature Reserve. Upon arrival at Paltuding ranger post, then continue trekking to Ijen crater about 3 KM (90 minutes).On the way to the rim, will be meet sulphur minner who carrying sulphur with bamboo basket on his shoulder . After take some photos and enjoy panoramic, back to the post and next transfer to Ketapang Ferry Port/Banyuwangi. End of tour

Note :
LDO guest house is the typical accomodation in Sukamade village at Meru Betiri National Park. Which is the guest house with limited facility such as electrical not along day, without air condition, no hot water & shower. Food and beverages will be prepared by chief of the guest and team.
